Private Teaching

I have been teaching piano for several decades, privately and at institutions. My students currently span the age spectrum from children to pensioners and are at various stages of pianistic development. I work with talented children, adult amateurs, piano teachers, as well as professional pianists and piano students. Who comes to me for lessons remains strictly confidential, unless people choose to share this information.

I treat everyone as an individual, with care and respect. I do not judge; my goal is to help in whatever ways I can. I hope that every lesson is a positive experience!

I have a thriving teaching practice in South West London. I also teach online via Zoom. All you need is a computer, tablet or smart phone, an external microphone (the Blue Yeti USB is ideal), and a good internet connection. That’s it, no fancy equipment necessary!

Teaching has always been my primary vocation and I am lucky that I am doing the work I love. While I do not teach beginners, my criteria for accepting students is very simple: be dedicated and committed to your piano playing!
